National Museum of Quesna

The Supreme Council of Antiquities has drawn for more than several years the building designs the project of Monofeya National Museum of Antiquities in Quweisna at a cost of up to 5 million pounds, funded by the Ministry of Culture represented by the Supreme Council of Antiquities to put Monofeya on the world and national tourism map.

This museum is set on an area of two acres next to the Monofeya Tower on the Cairo-Alexandria Agricultural Road. It includes 5 halls to show the Ancient Egyptian, Roman, Islamic and Coptic monuments that have been discovered in Jebel Quweisna in the city of Quweisna and Tel Albenndaria in the city of Tala.
