In the framework of Menoufia Governor  to preserve buildings with architectural heritage this morning Mr.officer Said Abbas, Monofia Governor chaired the meeting of urban planning Council in Hall meetings at the General Court In the presence of Dr. Ayman Mokhtar, Secretary General and heads of public units of the centers, cities and districts  within the scope of the Governorate and the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Housing, Culture and Endowments, Director General of Antiquities and Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels Sadat City University and Directors of the departments of legal affairs and urban planning and cultural heritage in the Office of the General and the engineering adviser of the governorate.

Menoufi Governor stressed the importance of preserving historic buildings, as who  has no history has no present and no future .History of Menoufia Governorate  is history of state of what the Governorate  enjoys the deputies and leaders and flags in all fields have a clear impact in Egyptian history. The Governor also stressed the necessity of activating the role of the formed committees and sub-committees emanating from them to preserve all historical and archaeological buildings in the governorate to exploit these buildings at the touristic  and cultural side and to preserve the identity of the governorate and its history, which is priceless The governor also stressed the need to unite efforts, vision and sincerity in work and solidarity All employees in these committees and work in a spirit of one team to employ this heritage in public service through the implementation of small projects and handicrafts to make a quantum leap in the Governorate.

It is worth mentioning that a Council for Urban Planning has been established to set up a vision, strategy and implementation plan for the cultural heritage to preserve architectural works that represent a cultural and human heritage that respects the history and diversity of cultures and civilizations to be a regionally and globally distinct province and follow up the implementation and application of the principles and standards of the National Coordinating Council. For the public areas and spaces, and the qualitative improvement of gardens and sidewalks and the preservation of watercourses and prevention of encroachment, as well as work on the sustainability of development projects and conservation of heritage areas and upgrading the level of coordination Of civilization down to the actual display models of districtss and cities and centers cultural  coordinated
