The Food Control Department of the Health Directorate in Menoufia Governorate, in partnership with the food offices in the departments of Menouf, Baraka Al-Sabaa, Al-Shuhada, and Quesna, on Tuesday, launched an extensive campaign on food factories and restaurants throughout the governorate .
The campaign resulted in passing over 100 establishments and factories, 35 minutes of health requirements were issued in accordance with Resolution No. 96, and 76 reports of health certificates were issued in accordance with Resolution No. 97.
in addition, 2072 kg of various foodstuffs were executed due to their unfit for human consumption, 161 liters of vinegar were seized to change the natural properties, 300 kg of rice were seized for lack of a production date and expiration date, 180 kg of sugar was seized for lack of a production date, 200 kg of tahini was set for a change in natural properties, set 210 kg packed dates to give it a prior production date .
in addition, 5880 kg of packed dates were seized, the weight of the package 700 g, due to the absence of a production date and the expiration date, 16,800 kg of packed dates were seized, the weight of one package was 10 kg, for lack of a production date and an expiration date, and 70 kg of packed pickled olives, the weight of one package of 2 kg, were set for lack of The production date and the expiration date, 7 complete sheep carcasses weighing 89 kg were seized in cooperation with the veterinary medicine for slaughtering them outside the slaughterhouses. Also, 1120 kilograms of different food were seized and 98 samples were taken and sent to the laboratory .
