Menoufia Governor confirmed that the total number of villages in the governorate is 317 villages and that the number of villages with drainage service is 97 villages with 30% of the total number of villages. The number of villages currently operating is 109 villages by 37% Sanitary drainage 111 villages by 33%.

Monofiya Governor stressed that community participation is the only way to solve all the problems facing citizens, pointing out the need for permanent cooperation between the executive organs of the governorate to meet the demands of citizens, which considered a basic right of their rights.

He also pointed out that dialogue and communication with civil society organizations will lead to the introduction of new ideas and the elimination of any crises and resolve all outstanding issues in all sectors and areas of service by the scope of the governorate.
