In a meeting with the heads of the local units of the cities and districts in Menoufia, HE Gen. Abbas held a meeting to follow up the status of projects in progress all over the governorate. The meeting covered the projects, the obstacles they encounter and the proposed solutions. Mr. Abbas gave instructions to go to citizens in streets to know their problems closely and to hold weekly meetings to serve citizens and activating the role of community participation and teamwork spirit to improve the level and quality of services provided to citizens. He also supported the formation of committees to call on all sectors within the City Center especially (hospitals and health units) to ensure the regularity of work and punish the offenders in accordance with the regulations and laws, stressing the need for coordination between the heads of centers and cities and their deputies to keep on citizens interests without disrupt or delay. The meeting also discussed how to make cities and districts attractive and activate the cleaning system due to the Governorate’s executive body keenness to quickly remove the accumulated garbage on main roads and side streets to attain the system’s best level and maintain the aesthetic appearance of it, which in turn promotes achievement rates. The meeting also discussed the data of the mechanical campaigns, maintenance, technical conditions and obstacles of their operation and ways to avoid them. The meeting was also co-chaired by Maj. Gen. Alaa Yousif, the Assistant Secretary-General, and hosted also the authorized member of the maintenance company of the vehicles, the manager of cleaning system, the manager of Planning Department and manager of Budget Department in the General Office.
